Raven - Black Lager: 5%
This Black Lager (or Schwarzbier) balances the use of roasted malts while delivering the clean and smooth character of the lager family. This lager pours very dark with a tan-colored head persisting on top. This espresso coloured brew gives off a melody of aromas such as dark chocolate, toffee and molasses.
Raven has all the dark flavours of a stout, without the heavy body. There are a ton of roasted flavours, with notes of espresso bean and a touch of burnt toast near the end. Clean lager character and a medium-light body allows this beer to finish smooth.
