Our flagship location and beloved hometown. If you’ve never been to our Port Perry location, we encourage you to join us and see the magic. The historical building housing Old Flame Brewing Co. was originally built in 1874, and began as the Ontario Carriage Works. Our building has a rich history with our town, and we work to preserve and pass on its stories. Whether you join us for a couple flights and live music, a tour to hear the history and process of Old Flame, or to simply pick up a few cans to go, we promise you’ll have an experience worth remembering.
The Tasting Room
With beautiful rustic and eclectic décor, our tasting room is full of character. It has been lovingly restored to its former glory, with the majority of the décor tying into the building’s history. We have a beer garden built between the tasting room and production facility, complete with an outdoor bar in the pergola. There is live music every Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm and a variety of exciting events happening monthly. Visit the News and Events page for a list of upcoming events.
Join us for a tasting or to fill up your growlers with an award-winning craft beer. Every visit to our brewery is a captivating experience and are we confident you will find an Old Flame craft beer that is truly worth remembering.
Our 4000 sq ft brewery is currently stocked with over fifteen fermenters of many different sizes, three bright tanks, and a pilot system. We built an addition to our brewery in May 2018 which now houses our packaging facility with a canning line, a bottling machine and a lab. All of our beer is brewed on site!
To book a tour of the brewery, visit the Booking page! We tell you about the history of the building and take you into the production facility to give you an introduction to the brewing process.
